Who Shaped Nick’s Destiny?• Nick dealt with bullying and contemplated suicide

as a teen

• What if he gave in?

• What if he was never freed from personal feelings of inadequacy?

• He would not be confident enough to be the person God wants him to be


• Josiah’s destiny of Reformation fulfilled

Are you allowing God to move you forward, or are you stuck in the mud of your mind, emotions, hurt, anger, sin, etc.?

(Romans 7:19-24) – For the good that I want, I do not do, but I practice the very evil that I do not want. But if I am doing the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin which dwells in me. I find then the [n]principle that evil is present in me, the one who wants to do good. For I joyfully concur with the law of God in the inner man, but I see a different law in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin which is in my members. Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?

Why Am I stuck?


Are you allowing God to move you forward, or are you stuck in the mud of your own mind, emotions, hurt, anger, sin, etc.?

(2 Corinthians 10:3-5) – For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

(Romans 12:2) – And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.

• Freedom lies in seeking God

(James 4:7) Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
