8th April, 2019 Dear Parents/Carers We will be holding a mufti-day and cake stall in school on the morning of Friday, 12th April.
The proceeds of the event will be shared between Whizz Kids, a national charity working hard to transform the lives of disabled children across the UK and Children with Cancer, another national charity that provides vital research so that one day every child will survive cancer.
Two members of Southall staff, Mrs Smith and Mr Tracey, will be taking part in the London Marathon to help raise funds for these charities; this is what they have to say:

After I applied and was given a place to run the London marathon for whizz kids, I felt honoured. Whizz kids helps over 18,000
disabled children with gaining their independence. They provide essential
mobility equipment to help with everyday living and provide support and youth groups
to help young people develop and reach their potential.
The London Marathon has always been on my bucket list and this year I was lucky
enough to gain a place. It’s a privilege to be able to raise money for a great charity that
saves children’s lives.
