Live Auction Rules: 1. All bids will be final and with winning bid determined by the

auctioneer.

2. Successful bidders will be given a receipt for the item purchased immediately following completion of bidding on that item.

3. Bidders may pay for their item at the cashier at any time. Pur-chases may be picked up immediately after paying at cashier.

4. Payment can be made via cash, local check or credit card (Master Card, Visa, Discover or American Express). All credit card transactions are subject to a $3.00 convenience fee. Please make checks payable to “Patio Planters of the Vieux Carré”. The closest ATM is at Verti Marte - 1201 Royal Street.

5. All Items Sold "As Is". All items are generally sold "as is," with-out guarantee made to their value, function or genuineness. For this reason, items are offered up for inspection prior to bidding.

6. Most items offered at auction are given an estimated value. This valuation is only an estimate and is not a guarantee of the object's resale value or its worth.

7. Patio Planters holds no liability after auction. Once an object has been legally transferred over to the winning bidder, Patio Planters ceases holding any liability over the object. Any damag-es incurred due to its use or misuse is not Patio Planters respon-sibility.

8. Items may be removed from bidding. Although items may be listed in a catalog as being available for bidding, Patio Planters generally reserves the right to remove items from bidding at any time, for any reason.

9. Patio Planters reserves the right to disqualify or reject any bids made during or after the auction, for any reason. The Auc-tioneer has final say. All disputes over matters related to bid-ding are referred to the auctioneer, who has final say.

Who we are

Patio Planters of the Vieux Carre (Patio Planters of the French

Quarter) is a social and service organization based in New Orleans.

We are dedicated to the preservation and beautification of New

Orleans’ historic French Quarter.

Since 1946, Patio Planters of the Vieux Carre has sponsored

Caroling in Jackson Square, a New Orleans tradition considered the

highlight of the Holiday season. Held every year by candlelight on

the Sunday before Christmas, this event is always free and open to

the public.

We hold several annual fund-raising events such as:

• Secret Gardens of the Vieux Carre (October), a self-guided

tour of private and historic French Quarter gardens,

otherwise closed to the public.

• White Elephant Sale & Auction (November), an auction, yard

sale, raffle. Some of the best French Quarter shops,

restaurants, hotels, and art galleries donate gift certificates

and specialty items for this event.

• Holiday Home Tour (December), a prelude to Caroling in

Jackson Square later that evening, showcases private French

Quarter residences dressed for the season.
