12Premium Calculations How it worksNon-Seasonal: The premium is calculated on an annual basis without deviation by month. This is used for any policy that does not have a Rental or Boat Club Usage.

Seasonal: The premium tracks with the exposure of the risk by month. Premium for the peak season months is higher than in the offseason. The coverage page will show the total annual premium. This is for any policy that has a Boat Club or Rental Usage.

Markel Confidential14

14

Non-Seasonal Rating: If you cancel the policy or if the policy is cancelled for nonpayment of premium, any return premium will be computed on a 90% pro-rata basis subject to our minimum earned premium. If we cancel the policy, any return premium will be computed on a pro-rata basis.Markel Confidential15

15Seasonal Rating: More premium will be charged for the months that make up the boating season, peaking during the summer, and less premium will be charged for the months during the offseason. If the policy is cancelled for any reason, including for nonpayment of premium, any return premium will be based on the length of time the policy was in force and reflect the variance in premium associated with the months the policy was in force.
