In the 38th minute one of Argentina’s players Kempes scored a

goal 1-0In the 80th minute one of Netherlands players Nanninga

scored a goal the result was 1-115 minutes into extra time Kempes once again scored another

goal 2-1Bertoni scored the last goal which was in the 115 minutes

Who scored?Kempes from Argentina scored two goals Nanninga from the Netherland scored a goal. Bertoni scored the third goal for Argentina. Final result: 3-1 Bertoni Kempes

The sequence of playing leading up to the goal?

In the second half Argentina had better defense than the other team and they spread out, knowing that the Netherlands had to attack, and waiting for the counter-attack chances for their quick strikers.

What could the defense have done to more effectively try and stop the goal being scored?

The Netherlands could have instead of focusing on attacking in the second half they could have focused more on defense, as it was understandable that Argentina would try to get a second goal.

What individual skills have been used by the attacking team?

1. Passed the ball in many different ways at the start of the game to their teammates.

2. Knew which direction they should go to get the ball from the Netherlands.

3. Had a well figured out plan.

Was there any movement ‘off the ball’ by other attackers to draw defenders away from the goal scorer?

There was a movement off the ball. The other team tried to get the ball from Argentina but instead one of Argentina’s attackers had speed and one of the players tricked the other team by passing the ball through one of the mans legs in the beginning of the match.

Personal Opinion

It was a fun and funny game to watch. Netherlands got a yellow card which I believe they shouldn’t have because the Argentina player wasn’t even hurt when one of the other players tripped him by accident and it wasn’t even a painful trip, even though Argentina is one of my favorite teams.
