When I go to Volk’s Electric Railway I will start my journey at a

station.

The Visitor Centre is near the pier.

Halfway station is near the playground.

Black Rock station is near the Marina.

Sometimes there might be a queue for tickets.

The cashier will help us buy a ticket and let us know when the last train is.

I can get a Spotter’s Guide from the cashier, this is a map and a game

I can play on the train.

We can explore the Visitor Centre while we wait for the train.

Sometimes it is loud and busy.

I can cover my ears or wait outside if it is too busy.

When the train comes the driver will check our tickets.

Then we take our seats.

We have to keep our arms and legs inside the train.

The driver will sound the bell to warn people he’s coming.

When the train stops at my station I can leave the train.

I will go to the railway and buy a ticket. I will wait for the train. I will

ride on the train safely. I will leave the train when it stops at my

station. I will think about this story, that way I will know what is

happening.
