• I am aware the program runs from May 22nd, 2019 through September 2nd, 2019

• If I do not have a sponsor, I understand that I must meet with the Membership Committee before my summer membership is approved.

• I understand I must attend an orientation meeting before I may begin using the Club.

• I will wear proper smart casual attire while in the Club and “whites” while on the courts. (Please consult the club bylaws, club staff or club officers for more information).

• I will not use a cell phone for conversation in public areas of the club. If I receive a call, I will go to one of the areas of the club designated for cell phone use. Silent data usage or texting is permitted.

• My spouse or significant other is welcome as a guest, but must also apply for summer membership if he or she will be using the club on a regular basis. (See family summer program rate for married spouses).

• I understand that no refunds will be givenfor any reason.

• I recognize that I may bring my friends,colleagues and co-workers to the clubas long as they are accompanied byme. While they are visiting I will beresponsible for their behavior, actions, andall of their charges.

• I am responsible to safeguard mymembership number and will be liable forall charges made to my account.

• I understand that summer membership isan introduction to the club and that I willonly be allowed one summer membershipin my lifetime. The Racquet Club isnot accepting second year summermember applicants.

• The Racquet Club is a private club.Submission of an application does notguarantee acceptance to the summermembership program. All summermembership applications are subject toapproval and may be declined at the Club’sdiscretion without a reason being given tothe applicant.

By applying for membership at The Racquet Club ofPhiladelphia, I agree to the following statements:

This application must be accompanied with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Discover). Your credit card will be charged $475upon acceptance into the summer membership. Further, this credit card will remain on file for House Charges incurred (house chargesinclude, but are not limited to, food, beverages, special events, etc). House Charges will be charged to your credit card during the first weekof each month. You will receive a monthly statement showing these charges and payments. Card holder agrees to pay all charges inaccordance with agreement governing use of such card.

In addition to this application, all prospective members must submit a letter of proposal from a current member. This letter will indicate the sponsor’s acquaintance with you and why you are being recommended for summer membership. If you do not have a sponsor contact Membership Coordinator David Wright and he will arrange a meeting for you with our Membership Committee.
