When a country develops its technology, the traditional skills and ways of life die out. It is pointless to try and keep them alive. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Technology is certainly not a new terms to most of us these days regarding its contributing role in bringing many changes to humans’ lives in recent times. Yet, following the way it revolutionizes our lives is a great deal of widespead worries that this development will lead to the ending of a country’s identities and values. While some people harbour the conception that attempts to preserve such traditional values in a period of technological advancement will result in nothing at all, I strongly hold the opposite view Firstly, the traditional customs of one country represent the ancestors’ invalueable quintessences of knowledge and behaviors for their offspring to follow. Those value, without which the latter generations will not be able to know in what ways they should follow to treat each other humanely, are indispensable to the society in today’s world, where humanity values are gradually deteriorating, for the most parts, due to technology. The way children behave themselves can be taken as a prime example. Children should be well-educated in how to be polite to the elders, help their parents with the housework and many other things given that they are of great importance to the future of a country. However, some recently have become an addict to online games. As a result of this, they will go to any lengths to have enough money for those time-comsuming leisures and thus steal their parents’ money and spend it on games. This goes against every moral rule a child necessarily has Additionally, the conventional values contribute to the promotion of a country’s tourism. Foreigners these days come to visit a place with the aim to broaden their horizon and knowledge by learning in depth about the inhabitants as well as the traditional identities of that place rather than travelling for fun.
