What is Self Realization ?

Every living beings including animals posses
consciousness.Consciousness make oneself aware about its
existence.Animals have limited consciousness which make them
feelThirst, Hunger, Pain, Pleasure, Sexual Desires etc. Moreevolved
Animal known as Human Beings posses a peculiarproperty called as
Self-Awareness which is You are Awarethat You are Aware which
animals do not posses. This SelfAwareness discriminate Men from
Animals by being able tomake Choices from infinite
possibilities.
What is so peculiar about Consciousness? Why so muchof fuss
about Consciousness?
Take the above circle. We notice a Centre point and aPeriphery.
Even though the Periphery may vary to Infinitedimension, the centre
point remain the same and unchanged.
Our Consciousness is also similar to the above Analogy.When the
light of the Consciousness falls outside, World isexperienced
through Thoughts. Collection of thought is whatwe term as Mind and
as such no separate entity known asmind. Similar to the periphery
of Circle, Thoughts are infiniteand Multitude. Thoughts creates
Actions . Actions createsExperiences. Experiences create pleasure
and pain. The

Ultimate purpose of experience is to transcend all
experiencesand to be established in the state of No Experience.
Thepurpose of Evolution is to realize the Truth and Experience
thereality and be established in Truth also know as Reality.
To experience the Truth or Reality, the Light that
illuminateseverything known as Consciousness must be Turnedinwards.
That is Consciousness focuses itself onConsciousness itself . This
is like the Light focusing on theLight itself. Like the Periphery
of the Circle instead ofexpanding outside starts its focus on the
Centre. This createsthe state of Presence or experiencing the
Now.
We should understand that Time is an illusion created by
Mind. When the Mind is born Time is Born. Both Past andFuture
are imaginations for the purpose of mereunderstanding purposes. Now
only is Real. Now only Exists.Now only is Eternal.
What is the Purpose of turning the Focus on theConsciousness
?
The purpose of anchoring the self in the state of presence
orstate of now , is to realize the Truth or Reality. All
HumanExperiences are mere crossing points which should
ultimatelylead to a point of No Experience rather Transcending
allexperiences and be established in Truth or Reality.
What do you achieve by being established in Truth orestablished
in the state of Presence?
This is the only real state. A state beyond all experiences.This
is the state of Pure Intelligence. The state of Self-Abiding
is the natural state of the self. This is like being Nowhere
andalso being Everywhere. A state where Infinity suddenlybecomes
Zero. Like a Tree suddenly becoming a Seed in thereverse direction.
The Seen and the Seen suddenly becomesone and the same. Experiencer
, Experiences andExperienced, the Trinity becoming the one and the
same. Thisis the state of Absolute Bliss where Oneness is
experienced.

This is also called as Self Realization a State of No Stateand
also the State of all States. You Realize the Truth.
Is Self Realization and Enlightenment one and thesame?
There is no proper definitive explanation for
Enlightenment.Enlightenment is a Process and not a Destination.
TheEnlightenment attained by the Gnanis vary in Degree andLevel of
Attainment. We can term Merging with the Absoluteor God as the
Final Point in the Process of Enlightenment.Enlightenment starts
with Awakening , proceeds toAwareness, . crosses Self Realization,
crossesEnlightenment at Mind Level, Crosses Enlightenment at
the
Heart Level, and Finally ends with Merging with the God.
TheEntire process is in fact different Levels of Enlightenment.
How to Start my Journey to Self Realization orEnlightenment?
Very Simple! Just close your Eyes and look within. All doorswill
open one after another. Gods grace is always there. Yoursurrender
only matters.
