NAPLAN The year 3-5 children participated in the NAPLAN on Monday/Tuesday of this week. BROKEN HILL TRIP On Tuesday afternoon the teach-ers and children of TOPS drove to Broken Hill. They attended Burke Ward School Wednesday and Thursday morning. This was a daunting experience for some, however at the end of the day the students had plenty of posi-tive experiences to share about their classroom time. SPORTS DAY WHITECLIFFS On Friday 11th May, the staff and children headed off early to attend the White Cliffs Sports day. The children learnt hockey and basketball skills and got to social-ize with the students from White Cliffs. There was a sausage sizzle and hamburgers for lunch kindly provided by White Cliffs school. The students all had an enjoyable but rather cold day and returned back to Tibooburra around 5.30pm.. GYMNASTICS Sarah from the Family Hotel is kindly taking the children for an hour each week at school to teach them some gymnastics, which they are all thoroughly en-joying.

CROSS COUNTRY—FRIDAY 25th May starting at 2pm School Counsellor visit 28/29th May Mid Term Break is the Thurs-day/Friday 7th/8th June and the Queens birthday long weekend is the 12th June.
