  Dear Parents and Carers

PSSA Finals Friday saw three of our PSSA teams playing in the Grand Final, a very impressive result for a small

school.  Both our Senior A netball and Junior AFL were victorious while our Senior AFL game came down

to a nail bi ng finish.  Congratula ons on a very impressive season.

North Ryde Community Food Drive A huge thank you to all those who gave so generously to this worthy cause.  All donated items will be

Cyber Safety Presenta on  A reminder that Senior Constable Deb Crystal will be giving a presenta on on cyber safety this

entertaining and informa ve. Cyber safety is o en a huge concern to parents in this ever changing

technological world and Deb has an impressive depth of knowledge in this area which she willingly

shares. It will be held in either the library or the school hall dependent on the numbers a ending.

Amity Rogers Walkathon

$24,922.74 raised by students

Further, $7,426.30 donated by P&C

Awareness of DIPG raised

Amity remembered beautifully

Dear Truscott Street Family,

Thank you so much for participating in the Walkathon in memory of Amity. We are thankful for the

support of the whole school community – both throughout the course of Amity’s terrible illness and

since. Together, the school raised $32,349.04, which included a generous donation of $7,426.30 from the

P&C. Those funds have been sent to The Cure Starts Now, a DIPG-specific charity. The Cure Starts

Now’s funding allocations are currently being decided. We will keep you informed as to where the

money has been spent. For now, thanks again and please don’t hesitate to talk to us about Amity – it’s

always a comfort to remember her.

With gratitude,

Mary Ellen, Jackson, Atticus, Rufus and Georgia.
