ics such as:

Pre-Primary, Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary education from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics,

Learning Outcomes from international learning assessments including PISA, TIMSS, PIRLS,

LLECE, PASEC, and SACMEQ.

Education Equity from DHS and MICS household surveys.

Education Expenditures and Teachers from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS).

Education Projections from EPDC, IIASA/VID, and the Barro-Lee dataset.

...and more!

Education Data on the Go: Getting to know the World Bank

EdStats DataFinder App

After launching the app, four navigation options appear at the bottom of the screen :

The BOOK tab presents education data profiles for 200+ countries and regional/income groups. Users

select one country/region/income group from the window below and can view the most recent data for

around 100 key education indicators. Users can send the profile in an email or bookmark the page as a

FAVORITE for future reference. A sample section of a BOOK data profile for Indonesia is included on

Page 3.

Stats Query.

Within the DATA tab, users can:

Select one or more countries, regions or in-

come groups.

Select one or more education indicators.

Designate a time period (5, 10, 20, or 50

years) of data to display.

View a data table of the selected data

View a line chart or bar chart of the selected

data (Page 4)

The FAVORITES tab provides quick access to bookmarked pages in the application – both from the

BOOK and DATA tabs. Use the “Add to Favorites” option to add a BOOK page or a data table/chart

to the favorites. You can also delete individual entries and reorganize them.
