Three days of engaging content including:• Webinar sessions from 9 am-Noon covering important
topics related to SB 606/AB 1668, multiple benefits, guest speakers, and more!
• Peer-run workshops from 1:00-3:30 pm• Workshop submissions are open!• Attendees can choose from an array of options!

Starting mid‐October, 200 Peer to Peer registrants will be able to claim a very awesome swag box we will have delivered to your home/office.
Register ASAP! Boxes will be available until all 200 are claimed
• Participating Bay Area agencies have approved CalWEP’s Program Design for transitioning QWEL training to a mostly online format in wake of the ongoing COVID‐19 health crisis.
• CalWEP will deliver turn‐key QWEL trainings comprised of: Pre‐recorded content, Virtual instruction via the web‐based platform Zoom, Online proctored exams, and In‐person or virtual irrigation audits.
• The objective is to preserve the quality of QWEL curriculum delivery and still include opportunity for engagement with participants.
• Added benefits include flexible schedules, increased “classroom” attendance beyond 40, and optional tutoring sessions.
• CalWEP continues to work on this project in partnership with Cal Water Services, Daily Acts, and a host of local community groups in the region.
• COVID slowed progress as in‐person meetings and trainings were postponed and trips to the region are limited.
• Online delivery of curriculum is being developed.
• Candidate sites for the demonstration garden have been narrowed down.
• Additionally, CalWEP is currently fundraising for installation of a second demonstration garden and have approached corporate and philanthropic organizations.
• Other grant opportunities we are exploring include Prop 68 SGM Grant Program and Prop 1 IRWM.

Sustainable Landscaping Maintenance Guide
• This is a graphics‐only guide intended for universal appeal.
• Funded primarily by Santa Barbara County with additional support from Sacramento Suburban Water District, City of Santa Monica, and Western Municipal Water District
• Progress to date: Formation of a Technical Advisory Committee Finalized TOC with key maintenance concepts
Membership with CalWEP and AWE also unlocks access to additional “add-on” programs, products and tools developed specifically for water agencies to maximize water use efficiency.

CalWEP Implementation Guides• CalWEP’s Program Committee is working collaboratively to adapts the CUWCC BMP Implementation Guides to interactive web‐based content available for CalWEP members.
• Thanks to generous funding from MWD, CalWEP contracted with Maddaus Water Management's team to do a bulk of the revisions and content updates.
• CalWEP is working with out web developer to design easy to navigate resources for members.
Framework Resource Hub is LIVE!
• Documents and events all in one place to help you track what’s happening on the state level
• Shared calendar of upcoming meetings
• Members have the ability to post, comment, and share their knowledge
