An Advocate of Healing

Sometime in December 2011, motivational speaker and author Lloyd Luna presented to professional

musicians his vision that would change the way most people appreciate classic instruments and its music.

They formed a post-calamity string quartet, a response to the devastating typhoon Sendong that left

thousands of people homeless and hopeless.

While the victims primarily need water, food, and shelter, we feel they would also need music to start the emotional and spiritual healing process. These

people need some inspiration and the sound of strings might be one best way to help them recover easily from the tragedy—typhoon, fire, earthquake, and

floods among others.

We can accomplish this mission only when we do our best to raise funds through performances. That’s why

part of what you’re paying us helps us reach these communities that need our music.
