If you are taking the train: Melbourne Aquarium is a short walk from either Flinders or Southern Cross train stations.

Opening hours of Melbourne Aquarium is usually from 9:30 am to 6:00 pm everyday and extend to 8:00 pm from January 1-26 every year.

Ticket for Adult is $34.90 and $21.50 for kid from 3 to 12 years old. Concession and different packages are also available.

River to Reef

Take an amazing journey from River to Reef is another one of four amazing worlds to see at Melbourne Aquarium.

Spread across two levels, you will come up-close to the amazing island inhabitants – rainbow fish, turtles, snakes, catfish, barramundi, deadly poisonous arrow frogs and fearsome-looking Speartooth Sharks.

Enter the dark and mysterious depths of the ocean with the enchanting Sea Jellies in their own specially designed UV-lit Jellies Room and be mesmerized by the intriguing Japanese Spider Crabs.

Shark Alive

Diving into the awe-inspiring Sharks Alive is an experience that will not be forgotten.

Melbourne Aquarium’s 2.2 million litre Oceanarium features a panoramic Fish Bowl viewing area that puts you right in the action as you are surrounded by an underwater world filled with intimidating sharks, massive stingrays, turtles and thousands of amazing marine animals.

The daily dive feeds are a must-see, as expert divers take the plunge into the tank to feed the hungry marine predators.

Weird & Wonderful

You will be surprised and amazed by the most Weird & Wonderful animals at Melbourne Aquarium.

This amazing world allows you to experience some of the strangest marine animals in the sea. Observe the extraordinary habits of color-changing cuttlefish, spiky lionfish, camouflaged sea dragons, armor-carrying crabs and everyone’s favorite marine movie star, the clownfish or “Nemo”.
