WHAT TO EXPECT FOR YOUR FIRST DAY Security at UCAR
Slide 3
Security Officers provide after hours escort to your vehicle
with advanced notice. Call extension 1139 to request this service.
Security coverage is provided 24/7 by uniformed officers who drive
marked vehicles.
Slide 4
Accessing our buildings Access cards are one of the key
elements of UCAR Security. Youve received your task to complete an
access card request form. Submit the completed form to your
supervisor when you arrive on your first day at work. Once approved
by your supervisor, you can take the form to the FL or ML front
desk. Your access card will be made while you wait.
Slide 5
Public Entrances General public entrances are available for
many buildings; if you work in a secured facility your supervisor
or division support will let you in until you receive your access
card.
Slide 6
Parking Security Park in any designated space in our parking
lots. Lock your car in our parking lots just as you would in any
public parking lot.
Slide 7
Office Security Protect your personal property at work just
like you would in any public space. Keep wallets and purses on your
person or stored out of sight.
