In my survey I aimed towards the top brands of phone that I knew, the most common brand of phone. This included the Nokia, Sony branded handsets, apples iPhone, Samsung's range of handsets and then an “other "categories that covered the remaining brands of phone.

• I have extensively researched the pros and cons of each of the top brands, each one offering something just that bit different to help it stand out from the market. Whilst I originally thought the iPhone would be the stand out brand, I was surprised to learn it is in fact Nokia! Sales figures show nearly double to amount of Nokia handsets have been sold compared to its competitors. My survey also helped highlight nokias runaway win. The Nokia 520 is currently the cheapest and highest quality brand smart phone on the market and can be acquired from between 90-130 pounds, therefore fitting in with the consumers idea of a perfect price range. I have however been led to believe that, from the research I have gathered, if the price of the iPhone was to fall dramatically, then we may see a new top brand of phone!
