Yes! The RoofShade fabric is porous and knitted from a tough, high-density polyethylene. Tests indicate the RoofShade will withstand winds over 90 mph.

2 – Is roof access still possible with the RoofShade installed?

Yes! The RoofShade is mounted on a wire grid 8 inches above the rooftop at 5 ft. intervals. The wire has springs at each junction to allow the fabric to be depressed to the rooftop.

The RoofShade can be walked on, or can easily be removed, if the roof surface must be accessed.

The RoofShade fabric is treated with fire retardant, as well as weather protection, and will last more than 10 years.
