WHAT IS REFLECT?
When talking haircolor, reflect is the tone and depth that our eyes perceive. Warmer tones reflect more light, while cooler tones absorb light. Keep this in mind when formulating
Koleston Perfect color is modern with a beautiful reflect that is less matte. The condition leaves the hair shiny with a more compact cuticle, leaving hair incredibly shiny
Our shades have a Balanced Primary Tonal Direction. This was developed to meet what a colorist would expect from each tone, the primary tone being most dominant Examples: /1 are cool with a balanced gray less matte green/gold /34 truer copper with less coolness more golden copper /43 less cool red and more true copper /7 less cool/mauve and pure balanced brown /28 truer to tone, ideal for corrective formulations /11 more cool gray than previous warm matte gray
TOO LIGHT?
Decrease the % / Volume of your Welloxon Developer, except with Gray Coverage
Decrease your target level by ½ level to 1 level darker
Add a cooler tone to your formula. The cooler tone will make the color appear deeper
For Gray Coverage: Try Intense Pure Naturals, great for coarser textures
For Gray Coverage: Did you check the percentage of gray? Be sure to adda portion of the target shade for best results when using /0 shades
Refer to our Koleston Perfect Gray Coverage Tips Guide and Video
TOO DARK?
Increase your target level by ½ to 1 level lighter
Watch out for porosity. Check with client for any skin care routines such as AHAs and Glycolic Acid treatments, all can create a pre-softening effect on the hairline.
Dilute your Glossing formula with 0/00
For Gray Coverage: Did you check the percentage of gray/texture? Try a non Intense Pure Naturals shade
