'his happens when your pancreas either does not produce any insulin, or not enough, to help glucose enter your body(s cells. )t can also occur when the insulin that is produced does not wor* properly. As a result, the body is less able to regulate the le"el of blood sugar, which can result in hyperglycaemia (high blood sugar) or hypoglycaemia (low blood sugar).
