UCMAS Mumbai Online Competition Rules & Regulations

Advantages Of Online Competition:A “3-hours bracket” will be given per category.

Competition Time Limit: 10 minutes (instead of 8)Student Practice: Students with logins can login in to the software portal and can start practice tests. Student will be allowed “unlimited attempts of practice”.

UFs can analyze student practice performance by going into the student view page.

Results for practice tests will be generated in few minutes time after the test completes.

Practice papers and final exam papers are auto generated by the system.

UCMAS Mumbai Online Competition Software

Final Exam:Final exams can be conducted as various slots based on the total number of registrations in each category.

Every student will have only one attempt for the final exam and it is their responsibility to ensure a stable internet and a good background with a clearly visible face and no other people in the background. Photos will be captured and stored by the system at random intervals for practice and final exams and alerts are sent to students during their exam if the system finds it hard to detect faces in the snaps or if the snaps have more than one face.

It is advisable to use a desktop computer with a web camera, or a laptop, or some Android tablet, or any Android phone to use this software. Numeric keypad which can be connected to these devices would be a good idea to increase speed.

Randomly final exam real-time faces will be compared against the photographs uploaded during the registration by using face-recognition technology to detect malpractices.

Service Providers manually verifies the automation system flags to confirm the malpractices and same will be notified with the competition organizer about any suspected malpractice.

Important Information for Students:

Number of sums are 200 for all categories.

The time limit for each category is 10 minutes.

There is no separate time for sheets, student can choose any of questions with the help of navigation.

Eligibility - Students are eligible for participating in the competition for the last level completed by April 30, 2021 only.

The competition is open to UCMAS Students as per the eligibility criteria and who are undergoing coaching in any UCMAS Franchisee center of any place in Mumbai. It is also open for Ex Students (Students who completed graduation on or before Nov 2019). This year even UCMAS Parents can participate in Online competition. They will appear for C category paper. They have to solve the paper mentally, without calculator or abacus.

Important Information for Students:

Do not share your login credentials with anyone else and only you should be taking thepractise & final tests. You will be disqualified if you share your login credentials withanyone else.Always make sure your face is clearly visible to the camera using the test your cameraoption every time before starting an exam. This tab is present in the Dashboardimmediately after you login. Click start camera and then the Test Environment button. Itshould mention that you are in a good location to start the test. You can click the buttonmultiple times to make sure you are in the perfect location even after moving.Use Enter Key to go to the next question as it is the quickest way to change questions andmove to the next page automatically.Exam portal and the pages/ displayed should not be recorded or photographed.When you are looking away from the screen for a long time or your eyes are not clearlyvisible, the system gives a beep sound and requests you to look at the camera. You have tolook at the camera by the time the timer counts to zero or the system stops the exam.When using portal in mobile, always use an external keyboard as the full question is notdisplayed properly with onscreen keyboard.When writing exam on mobile, always keep the phone upright with a stand or some supportas your face should be visible clearly to the camera.

Competition Fees:

Registration fees is Rs. 2,000/- for current UCMAS Students and Ex-Students.

UCMAS Parents’ registration fees is Rs. 600/-

Last date for submission of registration forms is midnight (11:59 pm) of 28-05-2021 Late fees of Rs. 500/- will be applicable from 12:00 am on 29th May 2021

Rs. 2,500/- will be applicable between 29-05-2021 to 04-06-2021

We apologize but UCMAS Mumbai head office will not accept any form after 4th June 2021.
