What I have learned from the Career Interests Profiler and Job Market Research Resource The career interest profiler was helpful in learning more about the career environments’ that would suit my personal attributes and gave a more focused direction towards where those attributes would best be suited. The new focus of direction given towards categories of management, sales, and business and financial operations was insight in learning of other possible options to pursue as I go through school. I think my academic program will me achieve my career goals in that I will be able to grow the skills necessary to perform with effective responses to the challenges involving the degree being pursued. The career exploration worksheet will help me keep track of my goals in a responsible time fashioned manner that will build into my career being worked towards. Additionally the career exploration worksheet will provide resources to grow a better understanding in tools I will need to benefit my career, and where I‘m at in attaining my career. It is important to set goals for my career in that it helps gives a target for determing a measurable amount realistic steps that would build into attaining a long term overall comprehensive collective goal. Having measurable steps that are realistic and that can be charted down over a timeline helps one see the amount of progress being yielded forth. In all keeping actively involved and engaged in the career exploration resource can be beneficial in building and mapping out goals that grows oneself to meeting his or her desired overall career objective that best suit the individual.
