What have you learnt about technologies from the

process of constructing this product?

SlideShare

SlideShare is a software used to upload a Powerpoint to our blogs. It is relatively easy to use however it requires you uploading it to

DropBox first, and then into SlideShare before posting to our blogs.

Prezi

Prezi is used to present information in an interesting way using movement. It allows you to customize backgrounds, colours, text, add

images and loads more. I found it very useful and makes the information fun to read.

Padlet

This website gives you a black ‘wall’ and then allows you to customize how you like, by adding pictures, text etc. It is then uploaded as an image.

I am not as keen on this website as it doesn’t allow for much customisation as only one font can be used and images cannot be

cropped/edited etc

Photoshop

Photoshop pretty much lets you do anything you want, I used it to create all of my magazine pages. Starting from the background you can add text and images very easily and edit them in great detail. The only drawbacks

with it is that it can take a bit of practice to learn all the tools!

InDesign

After using Photoshop and getting the images and layout how I wanted it, I then used InDesign to add text to my contents page and double page spread, it takes a while to get used to the software and finding tools but

one you know, there are many different cool effect you can use to improve your text!

Wordpress

We use Wordpress to upload all our work.Every piece of research, planning or final piece is placed on there

to be easily seen publicly. It allows you to post files from all different sites/softwares to create a variety and make it more

interesting.The only downside to Wordpress is that it does not allow uploads

from and Microsoft files
