What are the salient provisions of this Act? - The salient provision of this act is to provide a more responsive and comprehensive regulation for the registration, licensing and practice of professional electronics engineers and electronics technicians. To make or develop and well-rounded Professional Electronics Engineers, Electronics Engineers and Electronics Technicians whose standards of practice and service shall be excellent, qualitative, world-class and globally competitive through inviolable, honest, effective and credible licensure examinations and through regulatory measures, programs and activities that foster their integrity, continuing professional education, development and growth. 2. Do you think this Act helps to promote the development of the ECE profession? - Yes, this act helps to promote the development of the ECE profession because of the comprehensive and efficient preparation to be able to pass the licensure examination for PECE, ECE and ECT. Through programs and activities under this law, they will further their integrity, development and growth. 3. What are the benefits that an ECE will gain from this law? - There are benefits that an ECE will gain from this law such as sufficient knowledge about the licensure examination and in their profession, the development of their ability to use in excellent and qualitative works and being a globally competitive, productive and versatile professional electronics engineers. 4. Are there any negative implications in this Act as far as the ECE profession is concerned? -The renewal of member of IECEP, every year you have to renew your membership, you need to pay and attend seminars for you to earn points. 5. 1. What are the salient provisions of this Act?- The salient provision of this act is to provide a more responsive and comprehensive regulation for the registration, licensing and practice of professional electronics engineers and electronics technicians. As a student?-To my future career, many job opportunities will come because many companies are requiring or hiring ECE graduates that has license. To national economy, it regulates the ECE graduates to lessen the number of unemployed ECE graduates. As a citizen of the Philippines, by the use of board exam, the law helps us to know who is ready and deserving to serve our country. To my family, I can payback from all of their hardships and sacrifices when I was a student. As a student, I am more eager to fulfill my dream to become and successful Electronics Engineer and to serve our country with the help of my family, friends and especially God.
