I can find evidence that supports my inference
1. Explain using evidence what is meant
by ‘though the sea will be strong’.
2. What does it mean ‘I was her she was
me’?
3. What might be happening if
‘somebody (is) calling me on’?
4. Can you infer who the person might
be?
CHALLENGE - Which verse do find the
most powerful? Why?
She's the One Robbie Williams
I was her she was me
We were one we were free
And if there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
If there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
We were young we were wrong
We were fine all along
If there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
When you get to where you want to go
And you know the things you want to know
You're smiling
When you said what you want to say
And you know the way you want to play, yeah
You'll be so high you'll be flying
Though the sea will be strong
I know we'll carry on
'cause if there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
If there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
When you get to where you want to go
And you know the things you want to know
You're smiling
When you said what you want to say
And you know the way you want to say it
You'll be so high you'll be flying
I was her she was me
We were one we were free
If there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
If there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
If there's somebody calling me on
She's the one
Yeah she's the one
If there's somebody calling me on
She's the one

Leaving Y5 :(
This is my favourite time of the year—getting rid of my class! I’m joking! I love the last week with my
class. We reflect on the year, look back at everything we have done together, how far we’ve all
come academically and as people, and we get to have a bit of a giggle with each other :)
Today, I want to reflect on you favourite moments of Y5. Obviously, we were only in until March, but
it was still jam packed with stuff! You can do this how you want. Simply make a list, do a PowerPoint,
a little video…
Below are a few ideas to help you remember what we have got up to in no particular order!
If you send it to me, we can put everyone’s together on the newsletter as a lovely
memories section :)
Check out the Home Learning video for my favourite moments :)
Decorating the classroom for Christmas
Christmas party
Writing about piloting a spacecraft, A Christmas Carol ghosts, the Star Wars scene with the Wampa (we acted it out
as well), a letter of complaint from a Victorian workhouse, escaping the workhouse,
Reading and listening to Phoenix, Street Child, A Christmas Carol, Shadowmancer
Building the WER robotics, taking apart laptops and keyboards to see how they worked, hosting Computing work-
shops for Y4
Acting out the Battle of Hastings outside, freeze framing the Magna Carta, talking politics and learning about par-
ties and elections
Doing the Christmas performance ‘Masterplan’ song and creating a class dance
Victorian Christmas craft day with parents and family members
Victorian classroom trip - which I wasn't able to go to! :(
Learning about Space! Doing Prof Brian Cox videos with the Green Screen, moon phases with jaffa cakes…
Wake and Shake! Which was your favourite song or artist?
World Book Day dressing up :)
Playing Victorian Christmas Parlour Games like ‘Are you there, Moriarty?’ (the one with the rolled up newspaper!)
Sheffield Move and Learn PE lessons (the was a Jedi dodgeball game?), gymnastics, basketball…
Exploring clay artworks with Mrs Holmes, all the lovely mindfulness things Mrs Croft organised on the table in the
classroom…
And I’m sure there are lots of other things that you can think of! Maybe a certain task like drawing triangles with the
ProBots in maths, or learning binary...
