“The Big Picture” has the official Guinness World Records title for the “Largest High Definition Video Wall”. It is located inside the main lobby and entrance to Suntec Exhibition and Convention Centre (Suntec Sin-gapore) and is fast becoming a hotspot for photo-taking by delegates and Suntec City shoppers alike.

It is 15m high and 61m wide, and uses 664 55-Inch Full HD commercial monitors providing an incredible visual experience for anyone who comes across the display. It offers the narrowest bezel 5.3mm (bezel to bezel) and also supports high picture quality (local dimming creating deeper black; world best dynamic CR (500,000 : 1); and wide viewing angle providing clear image virtually at any angle using LG IPS Technol-ogy.

It is designed to support 32,051 pixels wide by 7,941 pixels high resolu-tion which is 21 times resolution of ultra high definition (3840 pixels x 2160 pixels).

It acts as a standalone exhibit with various contents and allows multiple media including still images, video clips, etc. to be shown at the same time, or a single media in native format to be displayed over the entire wall.

It provides interactive features integrated with two escalators located below it and the RFID. It shows a specialized content alongside the escalator from level 1 to level 3 or vice versa and shows a welcome message on it.

LG designed and built the system of the Big Picture in accordance to Suntec Singapore’s requirements to tailor solutions that enhance the unique solution for the video wall, including back side maintenance, con-tent display and interactivity of the Big Picture.

It is 9 meters tall with a central trunk made out of 150 aluminum rods, LED lights run along the bars and the canopy of the tree is a ring of 64 giant 42-inch high-definition screens.

The Social Tree is surrounded by eight interactive kiosks that enable travelers to 'attach' their photos onto the colorful and animated crown of the structure, which is made up of 64 giant 42-inch high-definition screens, offering a 360-degree dis-play of various animated backgrounds including a mystical forest and the Singa-pore skyline.
