I’m fairly new to the blogging game. I started my blog in January, 2014. I’d been following blogs for quite a while due to my interest in fashion. For the last

few years I have been working in a sports related environment, so it was really being in that atmosphere that prompted me to begin my own blog to keep fanning

the flames of my interest – as cliché as it sounds I really do have a passion for fashion!


Classic style is essential. To achieve it, you have to select a great quality staple piece. There is no limit on how creative you can get with staple pieces – the trick

is to then incorporate seasonal trends in. I feel fashion allows me to be creative. It allows complete creative control. If you look back at old photos of yourself

and reminisce, the clothes tell the story of who you are.

I’m 33 and I have 3 beautiful children, two boys at 15 and 8 and a daughter who is 14 years old. I’ve always had a keen interest in skincare and gradually that

interest lead to dabbling in fashion. When I started my blog in February, 2014, it really took off! Whilst it is a hobby just now, I would love for it to progress into

a career.


I’ve been looking forward to meeting the bloggers so much. I couldn’t believe I was selected for the shoot. I love Wear Eponymous as a brand and I cannot wait

to see their collaboration with emerging designer Laura Sherriffs. I like to be individual – right down to the basics like jeans. I’m not really fashion conscious,

but when I find a great piece I love to put my own spin on it. Fashion has helped me feel like a woman again after having children.

I’m a very recent graduate of events and marketing and I’ve been blogging for about five and a half years now! I ventured into blogging as I originally wanted to be a fashion journalist – I love writing, so blogging seemed like the natural

thing to do. I’ve met so many lovely people through blogging. There is a real community among us all – particularly the Glasgow/Edinburgh crowd – we’re a close bunch! This is a completely new experience! I’ve never done anything like

this before – this will be my first time having my make-up done professionally too!


I love Wear Eponymous – it gives off the lifestyle image of a current city girl! Their products are stylishly minimalistic and very wearable. Fashion really helps

to define me as a person. I’ve always had a passion for style – from the very young age of five! I dress to reflect my personality. I like to have a classic signature

wardrobe full of beautiful staples and work trends in each season. You should buy clothes because you like them, not because they are the “in” thing.

I’ve never taken part in anything like this before! It is a great opportunity to help me gain more experience in the fashion industry. I began blogging as part of a college assessment about two years ago. Nobody in my class was really

interested in the project, but I loved it, so I decided to continue on with my blog as a hobby in my spare time. Gradually, I began to grow my readership and utilized

social media to achieve a global audience.


By working on my blog, I developed an insight into the industry which has influenced my decision to pursue a career in fashion PR. Through my blog, I’ve sought out opportunities to work alongside brands big and small. The thing I love about fashion is it provides an outlet for me to express my personality

through different mediums. No two days are the same – so my style on a Monday can be completely different to my style on a Friday! No fake persona is needed –

the most important thing is to be comfortable in your own skin.
