In 2011-2013 trials, Optimum AQUAmax products from PROaccess Genetics were grown in 404 non-irrigated research plots, on-farm strip test and on-farm side-by-sides with a win ratio of 70 percent across IA, SD, NE, KS, CO, MO and OK. Cumulative claim includes all 2011 and 2012 research plots against competitive hybrids (+/- 5 CRM), on-farm strip plot (+/- 10 CRM) and on-farm side-by-side comparisons against one similar CRM commercial product. Right Stand Premium Corn Treatment Option

Poncho®/VOTiVO® 1250 is an optional nematicide and a high rate Seed Applied Insecticide. It provides a broader spectrum of secondary insect protection and some primary insect protection. Secondary insect protection includes some activity against corn rootworms for refuge acres when planting Corn Rootworm resistant hybrids. VOTiVO® protects against nematode damage.

Right Stand® Standard Corn Treatment

All corn hybrids distributed by Hoegemeyer will be protected with Right Stand® corn treatment. Right Stand is a combination of fungicide and insecticide applied right on the seed. The fungicide portion protects against seed-borne and soil-borne diseases like Pythium, Fusarium, Aspergillius and Penicillium. The insecticide portion provides early-season protection from a host of secondary pests, such as Wireworm, Black Cutworm, White Grub, and Seed Corn Maggot.

SEED TREATMENTS

• Avoid large nitrogen applications prior to expected drought periods, as this can increase prussic acid concentration for several weeks after application.

• Do not harvest drought-damaged plants within one week following a good rain.• Do not green chop within seven days of a killing frost.• Cut at a higher stubble height; nitrates tend to accumulate in the lower stalk.• Wait one month before feeding silage to give prussic acid enough time to escape.
