Jewson CricketForce

The Jewson CricketForce Scheme is a club-based initiative aimed at rejuvenating Scotland`s

cricketing facilities by encouraging cricket supporters, local communities, and their friends

and families to volunteer to undertake renovations at their local cricket club in the lead up to

the season. The scheme follows in the footsteps of a similar scheme run by the ECB that has

been hugely successful in promoting the profile of club cricket.

We are hoping that as many cricket clubs sign up to the event and use it as a great opportunity to prepare

their facilities and bring together their membership and communities for the start of the season.

We are targeting the last weekend of March – 27th

, 28th

, 29th

– for the national `CricketForce` weekend

where clubs participate and Cricket Scotland will be publicising, and supporting, the event nationwide. In

fact, some clubs will be chosen for extra volunteering support with national team players coming to your

club to muck in and help out for the day!

To find out all the information on Jewson CricketForce please click on the link below:

http://www.cricketscotland.com/participation-news/jewson-cricket-force/

The dedicated page will include:

- Information on additional benefits clubs can take advantage of – with more to be announced very

soon!

- Step-by-Step Guide to help you make the most of your project

- Links to case studies from clubs in England that have been part of CricketForce

- Posters to download to put around your clubhouse and local community
