Our Wireless Emergency Primary PowerSystem (WEPPS) is a ‘fit for life’ solution,which uses battery modules that need nocharging and no maintenance. Both FAA andEASA approved, WEPPS is set to become thebenchmark emergency power system of the future.

Why fit WEPPS? Current systems are timeconsuming and costly to maintain. WEPPShas been specifically developed to reduce thecosts associated with emergency lightingbatteries and remove the complications ofrechargeable battery systems. Comprising anetwork of primary battery modules and adiagnostic monitor, the system streamlinesflight dispatch procedures, eliminateshuman error and improves safety.

WEPPS has been designed as an easy‘swap-in’ replacement for existing batteries.The modules fit to the same mounting pointsand need no wiring reconfiguration. Thebatteries are approved, maintenance-free,primary batteries, which have indefinite shelflife and predictable performance. Thatmeans no requirement for conditioningspares and up to 80% less inventory costthan NiCd technology.

The emergency lights are controlled inexactly the same way, but WEPPS usesaircraft power for all functions except apower-out emergency, when battery poweris used. WEPPS also reduces the task of
