Swimming

This year all children will have weekly swimming lessons throughout their time in Year 5 every Wednesday afternoon: Towel, Swim hat (no goggles) Girls: Lycra costume (can cover legs) Boys:Lycra trunks (short)

If your child has not been swimming before, it is not a problem as Harrow Leisure Centre have fantastic teachers. As the children are grouped, they will progress from whatever stage they are already on. Every year, all classes have really enjoyed their swimming lessons. Please feel free to ask the year 6 children. The children must be organised the night before and bring their kit in every Wednesday or else they will miss out. If your child has any medical problems, please speak to welfare and your class teacher. Many thanks.

PE Kit should be in school every week and taken home at the end of each half term unless they need to be cleaned before then. They should be stored in a named draw string bag please. They will need clean socks each week and deodorant.
