URI is right handed and he has been using prescription lenses since the age of 10. He has no allergies, and has no medical conditions or physical abnormalities.

URI has been going to school for a total of 14 years, includ-ing kindergarten. After graduating high school in 2005, URI went straight to university to studying Cinematography and got his Master’s Degree in 2011. URI has already achived his

career goal, as he is currently working in the film industry as a Cinematographer. His native language is Russian, and he also speaks English. He has not served in the military.

Describe your strong sides: I’m very purposeful. I’ve been pursuing my dream for many years, and have never given up. I try to better myself each day: mentally, by reading, and physically, by participating in sports.

Describe your weak sides: Sometimes I can be overconfident, and catch myself thinking that I’m smarter than others. I can get frustrated if I can’t find the solution to a problem right away.

Which types of sport do you like to participate in? Medium-distance running.

Describe one of your favourite vacations to another coun-try:I took part in a film festival in Mumbai, India. For the first time in my life, I saw a country completely different from my own. That was when I started to think about why everyone lives so differently. I study history to find the answer.

What do you like the most about your own country?I like the subway in Moscow. I’m sure it’s the most beautiful one in the word; each stop has its own unique architecture. Also, I like art-house movies that present motion pictures as a visual art, where drama is based on human feelings and cinematography—movies that make you watch “between the lines.”

What is your most memorable childhood experience? I always wondered how it feels to fly, and learning to swim gave me a chance to understand what it feels like. That mem-ory has always stuck with me. What is your favourite colour? Black, white and orange.

What is your favourite animal? Horse, panther, and leopard.

What is your favourite kind of food? Chicken, squid, rice, vegetables, and fruits.

What is your favourite kind of music? Classical music, Trance.

“I’m a cinematographer, and making films is the most important thing to me. Personally, I don’t want to have my own family as I’m concentrating on the art of cinematography, trying to do it better. Since 17, I’ve known that the visual art is the only thing I’d like to devote myself to. I improve myself from day to day, reading classical (mostly British) literature, and going to museums to enjoy art; the main purpose of all this is to make my visual skills bet-ter, to create a very meaningful image for motion picture. However, I’d really like to give an opportunity to those people who dream to build a family.”
