As a working science park home to pilot-scale, specialist facilities, it is the ideal learning ground for students studying within the Faculty of Science and Engineering. In addition to practical laboratory work and problem-based learning, students studying at Thornton have the opportunity to work with on-site science and technology businesses in a number of ways, including placements and projects. Campus facilities include a café and restaurant, all-weather pitch and the Games Zone social hub. At the traffi c lights, turn right onto A5117

Continue for approximately three miles, going across two roundabouts

At the third roundabout, take the fi rst exit onto A5032/Whitby Lane

After approximately one mile, turn left onto A41/ Liverpool Road

After approximately one mile, turn right at the lights onto A5116/Liverpool Road

At the second roundabout, take the third exit onto Countess Way/A5480

At the next roundabout, take the fi rst exit onto Parkgate Road/A450

Turn right into the Parkgate Road Campus entrance (E).
