Hazmat Safety Permit

FMCSA Proposal:• HMSP applications keep current criteria• FMCSA will use CSA data to monitor HMSP-holders• HMSP carriers with high scores will receive

compliance reviews• Renewals will be based on CSA scores. Insufficient

data means CR every 4 years• Intrastate hazmat carriers must obtain USDOT

numbers.
