Directions to the Portland International JetportThe Portland International Jetport is easy to get to! We’re conveniently located just off Exit 46 of the Maine Turnpike/I-95. Or, if you’re arriving via I-295, just take Exit 3 to Western Ave. Local traffic can access the Jetport via Congress Street.

Ready for Take-OffWhen you arrive:Parking is just steps from the door of the terminal—what could be more convenient? We do recommend you arrive 90 minutes prior to your scheduled departure, especially during peak hours and holidays.

All airline ticket counters are located on the first floor of the terminal; airline staff is on hand at least 2 hours prior to each flight’s scheduled departure.

Smart Traveler Tip: If you’re not checking any bags and you choose to print your boarding pass at home, you can go directly to Security Screening, located on the 3rd floor for all airlines. If you’re parking in the garage while you’re away, park on Level 3 and breeze in via the Skybridge!

At the Security Checkpoint:Be prepared before you get to the front of the line by following these simple steps:• Ensure that everyone in your party has followed the 3-1-1 Rule for Carry-Ons (3.4 ounces or smaller containers of liquids or gels, contained in a 1-quart zip-top plastic bag—1 bag allowed per traveler). For a complete list of rules for carry-on items, visit www.tsa.gov.• If you’re traveling with a laptop or tablet computer, take it out of your bag and put it in the security bin.• Take off your shoes and jacket.• Those that have qualified for can use this special expedited screening.

Families traveling with small children and others who need a little more time going through the checkpoint are invited to use the TSA Family Lane.

Frequent fliers and our corporate partners who are seasoned travelers can take advantage of PWM’s Express Lane.
