university system Connect you to the campus and campus resources
Help you ask the right questions Supply you with information to

Approve transfer credits to be applied towards your general
education requirements Provide academic updates and assist you in

8 Core Requirements/ General Education 50-60 credit hrs. Major
Requirements 34-56 credit hrs. Electives 4-36 credit hrs.
Components of a Degree Minor Requirements (optional at some
schools) TOTAL=120 credits of which 45 hrs. must be upper division

you need to complete each year? 15 credit hours/semester X 2
semesters per year=30! Freshman: 1-29 Sophomore: 30-59 Junior:
60-89 Senior: 90-120 Slide 10 120 total hours completed Including
accepted transfer credits Up to 60 transfer credits from Community
Colleges Up to 90 transfer credits from 4-year Universities Maximum
of 90 transfer credits applied towards the 120 total hour

many credit hours should you consider taking your first semester?
At most Institutions, 12 credit hours is considered full time. How
much time should you spend studying in college? *Minimum of 2 hours
per credit hour* EXAMPLE 4 (3 credit courses) x 6 (hours of study
per class) = 24 hrs. of study time per week outside of class Slide
