improvement in aggregate adult four-year college

attainment is associated with an

$856increase in annual per capita income.

Increasing the college attainment rate by one percentage point in each of the 51 largest metropolitan areas would

be worth $143 billion in additional personal income for the nation each year.

The Talent Dividend.

Talent Dividend Prize$1 million awarded to the city that exhibits the greatest increase in the number of degrees granted per one-thousand population from 2009/10 to 2012/2013.
