Rate of return is based on quality

Elements of an investment with a high return:

High product quality

Yield

Life Span

Goal: Generating maximum yield (kWh per kWp) while providing the longest

possible product life

Rate of Return = Yield x Life Span

Experience

SCHOTT Solar knows what is really important for the long-term operation of

solar modules. 5,000,000 m² of installed module surface speaks for itself.

SCHOTT Solar test conditions:Based on IEC 61215:

Double IEC testing

SCHOTT Solar’s internal test standard requires double IEC testing and even more.

TCT (Thermo-Cycle-Test):

400 cycles (- 40°C to + 90°C)

All SCHOTT Solar modules are being flashed during production.

SCHOTT Solar delivers only modules that really have the indicated nominal power output:

Crystaline products: -0 / +4.99 Wp

ASI thin film products: -0 / + 1.99/2.99 Wp

This means:

A SCHOTT Poly 225 module ranges between 225 Wp and < 230 Wp.

This guarantees real performance and consistently high energy yields.

All electrical measurements of the modules are based on the standard by Fraunhofer Institute for Solar Energy

The measuring tolerance for the nominal output is ± 4 %

Only plus tolerances

In an ongoing long-term study conducted by the Fraunhofer Institute, tested samples of

SCHOTT Solar modules showed an extremely high durability and an average

degradation of less than 10 % after 26 years.

Over 90% performance stability

Module type: PQ 10/40/01 (38,4 Pmpp)

Yield: 2,3 kWp

Installation: 1984
