BandSix band classes: two instrument specific 6th grade
bands, 7th, 8th grade bands and 7th/8th grade wind ensemble.
We start on flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, horn, trombone, euphonium, tuba and percussion.
Instrument petting zoo: March 5th from 5-7 pm in the MPR.

• Students will have the opportunity to experience a variety of sports and activities ranging from individual and team sports to fitness activities and principles. We also spend time on team building, cooperative participation and sportsmanship.
• Some of the sports include: basketball, flag football, softball, volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, racquet sports, badminton, soccer and track and field.
• Some of the fitness related activities include: jogging, strength training, basic nutrition and fitness.
• Physical Education can be a semester or year long course. The curriculum will change each semester.

• Learn about basic vocal health and appropriate techniques for choral singing
• Be introduced to the solfege syllables and apply these in daily sight-reading exercises
• Sing various genres of music, such as Classical, Pop, and Music Theater.
• Practice one formal theory lesson weekly (“Theory Thursdays”)
