School Day Begins at 7:35 AMStudents are not allowed in the building before this time
School Day Ends at 4:00 PMStudents can not be checked out after 3:15 PMCar Riders are dismissed and picked up from the rear

A Day at WoodsonStudents begin with Breakfast in the Classroom
The instructional day begins at 8:00 AM
Students in Grades 3-8 change classes daily
All students participate in ancillary choices such as: Music, Art, Theater, PE, and MS Band
How Do We Move to The Next Level?
Woodson K-8 Leadership Academy plans to make progress this year
We will need commitment from parents, teachers, and students in order to meet this goal
We are asking parents to partner with us by: Check your child’s book bag daily for homework, notes
from teachers and the school, and to contact your child’s teacher regular for progress updates
In an effort to have effective communication, we are asking you to update your contact information as it changes
Title IWoodson is a School-wide Title I school based on
free/reduced lunch percentages.
