Property Nature’s Corner has proposed a plan for the landscaping of Our Lady of Lourdes. It includes shrubs and trees with colors for every season; pink blossoms in spring, reds and purples throughout summer and dramatic reds and oranges in autumn. The elegant plantings selected are designed to com-pliment the architecture and red stained glass win-dows of the church. Consider being part of the beautiful environment by donating a tree or flowering shrub, or contributing to-ward the landscaping. Notice: Please see an Usher after Mass for a list of giving opportunities for Phase I of the landscape project to be completed this fall. Phase II will include the Shrine and Parish Office.

Sylvania St. Joseph parish is proud to host the Toledo Sympho-ny Orchestra in the annual Neigh-borhood Christmas Concert on Wednesday, November 28 at 7:30 p.m. in the church. Sara Jobin, conductor, will lead the orchestra in an-other evening of outstanding seasonal and classical music. General admission tickets are $16.00 in advance or $18.00 at the door. Saints Adalbert & Hedwig’s annual Wigilia will be held on Saturday, De-cember 8 after the 4:00 PM Mass at the PRCUA Hall on N. Detroit Avenue. In the true Polish tradition, we will serve a meat-
less dinner serving foods from the fields, forests and waters. We will feature fish, beet soup, meatless gołąbki and pierogi among other items! There will be opłatki, prayers, Christmas carols (Kolędy) and a per-formance by the Echoes of Poland. Please join us for this celebration of our Lord’s com-ing.
