Welcome To Our Clinic. Please take a few minutes to read this important information so you can get a sense of what to expect.

What’s different about Acupuncture For The People? Our clinic has 4 plush recliners arranged side by side in the same open serene room. Treating patients together has many advantages: friends and family can come in together for treatments; many patients find it comforting; and it’s been established that more people healing together in one space creates a ‘healing qi’ which is beneficial for all. This style of acupuncture allows patients to rest with their needles in for as long as you want. The right amount of time varies from patient to patient (usually between 30 and 60 minutes). *Please make eye contact with your practitioner or clear your throat to indicate you are ready to have your needles out. Affordable Rates We charge $40 which is half the price of most clinics in the area. We make our rates affordable so that you can afford to get the care you need. The first visit to our clinic includes an additional $10 fee to cover the extra time we spend with you.

CLINIC POLICIES • Please arrive on time or a little early. We see patients every 15 minutes so

being 5-10 minutes late can make it difficult to accommodate those who are scheduled after you.

• Please pay before your appointment. We have a box for cash and checks or if you are paying by card please tell us and we will take care of that before treating you.

• Please silence your cell phones and speak in hushed tones when in the clinic.

• Hang up jackets, sweatshirts on hooks provided and store cell phones, shoes and purses in the baskets provided placing the basket behind your chair.

• Many people are sensitive to strong scents. Please Do Not Wear Scents-perfume, lotions, oils cologne etc. Please do not smoke 1 hour prior to your appointment.

• Eat a light meal before your appointment and avoid heavy caffeine consumption.

• We require a 12 hour advance notice for appointment cancellations to avoid our $20 cancellation fee.

NEW COMMUNITY PATIENTS • New Patient visits are $50. We accept cash, checks and credit/debit cards. • Have your new patient forms completed and ready for your

acupuncturist. • If you did not bring your forms, please come 15 minutes early and

complete the forms at the clinic. We will have them in the waiting room. • Have a seat and relax; your acupuncturist will be with you shortly to meet

with you in private and address your health concerns and create a treatment plan.

• We will also give you a plan on frequency of treatments and any supplements, herbs and dietary recommendations.

• Schedule early and come in often. Leave Feeling Amazing! RETURNING COMMUNITY PATIENTS • Return visits are $40. Please pay before your appointment. If you are

paying with cash or check please drop payment in the drop box. If you are paying by card please have that out for us to swipe.
