Elevate: Grades K-5, join us today, at 11:00 am, in the Elevate Clubhouse for our sitcom style video series, “Zap Pack” following the life of a preteen, Zack, whose world turns upside down when his family moves to a new town, then turns bizarre when he gets zapped into his school backpack. Zack’s life and attitude are transformed as he learns stories of children from the Bible who are truly livin’ it!

Discovery Club, Cool Kids , Motion, NRGs: Our Sunday evening programs for our children are on break for the summer. We will resume September 8. Check out the summer Youth & Children’s calendar for special activities!

Bodybuilders (7th-12th Grade): Check out the summer calendar for special activities for the summer. Regular Bodybuilders meetings will resume September 8.

Summer Calendar: Youth & Children’s events are supplied to you on our annual calendar, available at the youth board downstairs.

Impact Mexico: Parents meeting next Sunday, June 9, 6:00, in room 105.

Seventh graders: We’re going to Airbound trampoline park in Winston-Salem Friday, June 7, at 1:00. Cost is $12 plus money for Steak and Shake.

Blue Ridge Christian Camp: There’s a camp for every age group this summer at BRCC! Check out the posters on the Youth Ministry bulletin board. Belmont will pay half of the registration fee, if the forms and payment are turned in by today.

Club EGG (Exploring God’s Goodness): Club EGG, a 10-week program for rising Kindergarten-6th graders, that will meet each Wednesday, this Summer. We’ll begin this Wednesday, from 9:00-1:00. Our theme is “Art Day,” and there is no cost. Meet in the Fellowship Hall and bring a packed lunch.

New! Belmont Couples Golf LeagueAnyone interested in playing in a couples golf league should plan to attend a group meeting today, at 12:00 in the fellowship hall. The

format will be a two-person, captain’s choice team. The play will be limited to 9 holes with each team scheduled to play each other. Should

meeting, but would like to participate.

Impact MexicoThirty-six of our high schoolers and adults are building three houses

in Ensenada, Mexico, July 13-20. We need your help to fund the materials for the third house. It is 320 square feet, and you can

“purchase” one square foot for $15. Would you consider purchasing one or more, by June 16? You’ll receive a section of a 2x4 with a nail

actually used on the construction site in Mexico! Make checks payable to Belmont, and write “Mexico house” on the memo line.

Baby Bottles to Support the Pregnancy Resource CenterNow, through Father’s Day, pick up an empty baby bottle in the foyer,

to be filled with change, currency or checks. If you choose to write a check, please make it payable to “The Pregnancy Resource Center of the NRV”. All donations will go to support the work of this local

ministry as their staff and volunteers minister to soon-to-be moms who need help and direction. Return the filled bottles to the church to be

delivered to PRC.

Volunteers and Participants Register Online for VBSVBS, for children ages 3-rising 5th grade, will be held July 28

through August 1, from 6:00-8:00 pm. Visit the children’s page at belmontchristian.org to register yourself to volunteer and your children

to participate. Soundtracks can be ordered for $7 each. Make your check out to Belmont and note “VBS music” in the memo.

Fathers Day PresentationToddlers, Preschoolers and Elementary age children are invited to join us in preparing for Fathers Day, June 16. Toddlers and

Preschoolers will practice in their Sunday School classes and K-5 will prepare in Elevate. Both songs are available on the children’s link at belmontchristianchurch.org, so your children may practice at home.

Upcoming 50+ Ministry EventThursday, June 20-Friday June 21: Overnight trip to Blennerhasset

Generosity Campaign UpdateIn the month of May, 2013, the total received was $14,217. The

amount received so far for 2013 is $192,895.33. The total received since beginning the generosity initiative is $387,201.57.

Here is why we too are asked to have an

unshakeable faith and to follow the lead of these four men:
