In December the Youth Ministry will focus on global missions at a special on campus event designed specifically for 7th through 12th grade students. This event will challenge their survival skills, build teamwork and inspire continued involvement in global missions. We are partnering with Water Mission and Active Water to learn about disaster response efforts, and discover meaningful ways to impact the world for Christ at the project disaster experience. WHY WATER? Every day, 1.8 billion people wake up without access to safe drinking water. Water-related diseases steal the lives of 9,800 people every day - more than war, natural disasters, AIDS or hunger. This crisis rarely creates headlines, making it today’s silent killer. People living in developing countries and survivors of disaster are constantly struggling to meet the most basic of human needs. Meeting the physical need for safe water provides a platform for local ministries to build relationships and share the Living Water message of Jesus Christ. WHAT IS PROJECT DISASTER? Project Disaster will involve a mock disaster experience designed to be fun, competitive and thought provoking. Students will examine the crucial effect of catastrophe, and consider what it would be like if our area was struck with a disaster scenario. At project disaster students will participate in a variety of activities to meet their basic needs for survival. Your student will not want to miss it. The event date is Saturday, December 17 from 2:00 p.m.to 9:00 p.m. There is no charge to participate in project disaster. However, we will take donations, and the event will conclude with a love offering to support Water Mission and Active Water. Registration and Information packets are now available at the Student Reception Area in the lobby.

And His Love Endures Forever

God Is In Control And His Love Endures Forever

Psalm 136:1:“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever.”

His love.

Because God is infinite, his love has no limit. Because God is holy, his love is spotlessly pure. Because God is immense, his love is incomprehensibly vast, and because he is eternal, his love can have no end.

Endures.

“When God permits his children to go through the furnace, He keeps his eye on the clock and his hand on the thermostat. His LOVING HEART knows how much and how long.” -Warren Wiersbe

Forever.

Dear Lord,You are perfect. You could not be better than you are.You are self-created. You exist because you choose to exist. You are self-sustaining. No one helps you. No one gives you strength. You are self-governing. Who can question your deeds? Who dares advise you?You are correct. In every way. In every choice. You regret no decision. You have never failed. Never! You cannot fail! You are God. You accomplish your plan. You are happy. Eternally joyful. Endlessly content. You are the king, supreme ruler, absolute monarch, overlord, and rajah of all history. An arch of your eyebrow and a million angels will pivot and salute. Every throne is a footstool to Yours. Every crown in papier-mache to yours. No limitations, hesitations, second thoughts, or backward glances. You consult no clock. You keep no calendar. You report to no one. You are in charge. And I trust you. -Max Lucado
