Last Sunday evening, members and friends of Lakeview met to approve the 2018 slate of officers, the annual budget and to receive 6 new mem-bers. Please see the information counter in the foyer for a copy of the 2017 Annual Report, and the minutes of the meeting on the bulletin board.

The Okanagan Gleaners will again be collecting crocheted and knitted baby blankets and baby clothing. So knit and crochet throughout the year and bring them to the church in November to put in the Gleaners barrel.

Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

• Our deepest sympathies go out to Nancy and Darcy Nickel at the recent pass-ing of Nancy’s mother Clara Fortnum who was 100 years old. Clara was also the grandmother of Kendra Stagg and Krista Stoneman.

• Pray for Milena Gobbato, mother to Sev and Randi Gobbato. Milena is at home in palliative care. Thank God for His grace and mercy each day.

• Pray for Dale Hanson who is now home from the hospital recovering from a pancreatic attack.

• Thank you for praying for Trudy Kadatz who is now at home recovering from a recent illness.

• Thank you for praying for Dan Biech is now at home recovering from surgery.

• Thank you for praying for Alanna Bessey who is recovering at home from her-nia surgery.

• Pray for Presley Nevdoff who, along with her mom, Amanda, are in Memphis, Tennessee at St. Jude Children’s Hospital. Presley has received her first radi-ation treatments. She will receive treatments each week day until the end of February. Continue to pray for Presley’s dad, Shane and her two younger sib-lings Dakota and Sawyer, and the entire family.

Pray for the Search Committee as they continue the search for the Pastor of Com-munity Life. Pray for God’s leading and wisdom.
