In the area… “Praise Him All Ways” Music Festival, Nov. 4, at 2 pm, St. Boniface Parish, Lunenburg presents its 3rd annual event. Area choirs, clergy, religious and children offer up their hymn of praise and thanks to God. A free will offering will be taken at the door. Cider and refreshments in the hall to follow. For information, call Claire Neas at (617) 823-4237. St. Paul Catholic Schools Consortium Dinner, Thurs., Nov., 8, Doubletree Hotel, Leominster. The event will honor Thomas D. Bingham with the St. Eliza-beth Ann Seton Award, and Joseph R. Mullaney with the Outstanding Young Alumni Award. For info, visit www.stpaulconsortium.com. “Christmas in Acadia” Fair will take place on Friday, Nov., 9 (5-9 pm) and Saturday, Nov., 10 (11 am-7:30 pm) in the Parish Hall at St. Cecilia’s Church. Traditional French Canadian foods as well as an extensive kitchen menu, and baked goods table available. Additional festivities include, Chinese Auction, $3,000 Major Raffle, Theme Baskets, Craft items, and a large Flea Market. Face painting, game booths, and pictures with Santa available. On Sat., from 5:30-7:30 pm the “Twin City Fiddlers” will perform.
