In the area….. Greater Gardner Community Choir Spring Concert–2018, Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living, on Sunday, May 6 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish, Winchendon. Concert begins at 4 pm. A $10 donation is requested. Free for seniors & children. Parishioners Betsy Fiedler and Theresa Baleno will be singing.
Eucharistic Adoration Every Friday after the 8 am Mass, Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament is placed on the monstrance. It is an opportunity for private and personal prayer before Je-
sus.
The morning concludes with another devotion: the Divine Mercy Chaplet, fol-lowed by Benediction. The Chaplet is a beautiful prayer asking for God’s mercy. Benediction in this case is giving you a
blessing with the Body of Christ Himself.
