Common Services Center Scheme (CSC)
• The Common Services Center Scheme is a part of the
ambitious National e-Governance Plan (NeGP).
• The Scheme envisages the setting up of 100,000+ IT-enabled
access points to be implemented in a Public-Private
Partnership (PPP).
• In CSC 2.0 we will cover 2.5 Lakhs GP’s.
• The Common Service Centers (CSCs) have been positioned as
front end delivery outlets for delivery of Government as well
as Private Sector services.

Apollo Telemedicine
• Apollo Tele-health Services has signed a partnership
agreement with the Common Services Centers Scheme of the
Government of India to enable “Primary and 2nd opinion
services through tele consultations” to CSCs in the Country.

different schemes in the same centre .

Araku - BackGround
• Valley in Visakhapatnam District of A.P.
• 14 Mandals.
• Large Tribal Population with Habitats inside the forests.
• Tribal people walk all the way to Araku from the forest for products and services.

• SBI is giving best services to the citizens
• Average 500 Citizens will come to bank every day.
• 3 counters are serving the citizens
• Service time more due to low literacy rate of tribals and little understanding of banking.
Current Situation
CSC SBI Kiosk Solution
• SBI FI Manager of Vishakapatnam contacted CSC SPV Kiosk banking for Decongestion of Araku.
• CSC SPV contacted the CSC Meeseva Centre in Araku with due diligence and guided VLE on Kiosk Banking
• Appointed the VLE as SBI BC Agent
• CSC Official and SBI FI Manager visited the centre , Trained the VLE and made the kiosk live.
• Organized a meeting with VLE, Branch Manager, FI manager and CSC Official for smooth running of Kiosk
• CSC is now delivering SBI Kiosk Banking Services

“Ms.Sandhya Rani studying 5th Class is opening SBI account at CSC Meeseva Araku”, her Father says its very convenient because for Scholarship they need bank account and at Meeseva if account is also opened it’s a great service. He is delighted today because he came for caste certificate now he gets Bank account as bonus.

•The National Digital Literacy Mission (NDLM) project
aims to train 52 lakh eligible beneficiaries on basic IT
literacy in every eligible households in states/Union
Territories across India.
•The purpose is to enable the beneficiaries to use IT
and related applications to enhance their livelihood and
lead to a technologically empowered society.

•Non-IT literate - Illiterate
•Only one beneficiary from a household to be selected.
There shall be no two members of the same household
to be registered.
•Preference to candidates with higher education to be

•Course Duration: 20 Hours (Minimum 10 Days and
Maximum 30 Days)

modules in order to be eligible for appearing in the term-end

•The trained candidates shall have to undergo an
