Information
• Students can take AP and AICE classes simultaneously.
• Students earn 2 quality points on GPA for AP and AICE Classes.
• Students may earn college credit if AICE or AP exams are passed.
• Differences with AICE Program• Students may earn an AICE Diploma• Students earning an AICE Diploma and 100 community service
hours will qualify for Bright Futures - Florida Academic Scholar Award w/out qualifying SAT/ACT scores.
• Students can exempt HOPE and online graduation requirement with the AICE Diploma.
AICE Diploma Requirements
Students must earn 7 credits by passing a combination of exams at the AS level (1 credit) or A level (2 credits) in a 25 month period starting in June of the year of their first exam. A minimum of one exam must come from each of the 3 subject areas:
1. Mathematics & Science
2. Language Arts (Includes Foreign Languages)
3. Arts & Humanities
**All AICE Diploma Students must take Global Perspectives AS**
**Students do not have to earn an AICE diploma to receive college credit**
**AICE Diplomas of Distinction or Merit are based on AICE Exam scores**
