CURRENT GUIDELINES

A Gradual Return To Normal Sunday Mornings We’ve been trying prudent measures in worship to help everyone feel safe about reopening. Please respect the comfort level of those around you. And if you’re sick, please stay home. If any member of your household exhibits symptoms of COVID-19, please stay home. If you’re in one of the most vulnerable categories, consider staying home. Services will continue to be streamed on our You Tube channel. One change you’ll notice this week: we’ll not wait for ushers to dismiss us a row at a time. If you wish to wait till the aisle is clear, stick around and enjoy the postlude.

Summer Schedule To Begin Next Sunday, July 12 We will move to the air-conditioned C.A.A. with overflow seating in the Fellowship Hall. Worship at 8:00 and 10:30, Christian education for all ages from 9:15-10:15. Nursery will not be provided at the 8:00 service.

Midyear Congregational Meeting August 16 dur ing the Chr istian education hour. We hear reports from our program staff and choose a nominating committee.

Baptism On The Beach August 16 If you’re interested in being baptized, let Pastor Ken know. There will be a forty-five minute preparation meeting in late July.

Promised Land Range will be open Mondays at 4:00pm. Contact Pastor Mike for more details.

GriefShare has restarted. We meet Mondays, 7-9pm, in the Parlor. When a loved one dies, grieving that loss can take a long time, but you are not alone. GriefShare is here with a support group that provides encouragement and help as you go through the recovery process. There is no cost.

Free To Be You and your family and fr iends ar e invited to come celebrate the joy of surrender at Free To Be's first ever Drive -In

worship experience! We will meet July 17, at 6:30pm

in the south parking lot of CCC. This event is free, but we ask each of you to register ahead of time so we can plan appropriately. https://ftbworship.eventbrite.com Unfortunately, childcare is not available, but families and children of all ages are welcome!

Welcome Little One Diana and Leonel Mijangos and family welcome Jesiah Nikolai Mijangos, born 6/19/2020. He weighed 6 lb 8 oz. and was 19” long.

Starting next Sunday, 9:15am. Sunday school teachers are looking forward to sharing God’s truths with your children in person!

Nursery is available dur ing 9:15 Chr istian Education hour and for the 10:30 Worship Service (through age 3-year). Nursery will not be available during the 8:00 service.

We look forward to celebrating the reopening of the Children’s Wing!

There will be safety measures in place which will be emailed and snail mailed to CCC families. It is important to me that we have reasonable safety measures in place. It’s also important for children to engage and get together and learn the Bible in a loving and safe atmosphere. (For parents who are ready for their children to socialize – not everyone is. We respect and support those who are sheltering in place and those who are ready for their children to be back to Sunday school and nursery.)

For those who love children, have had a background check screening and will be happy to serve children and their families in the nursery – please reach out to me.

I look forward to Sunday mornings in the Children’s Wing and cannot wait to see you and your children!! If you have questions, please contact me, [email protected].

Living Hope Verse 1

How great the chasm that lay between us How high the mountain I could not climb In desperation I turned to heaven And spoke Your name into the night Then through the darkness Your loving-kindness Tore through the shadows of my soul The work is finished the end is written Jesus Christ my living hope

Verse 2

Who could imagine so great a mercy What heart could fathom such boundless grace The God of ages stepped down from glory To wear my sin and bear my shame The cross has spoken I am forgiven The King of kings calls me His own Beautiful Savior I’m Yours forever Jesus Christ my living hope

Chorus

Hallelujah praise the One who set me free Hallelujah death has lost its grip on me You have broken every chain There’s salvation in Your name Jesus Christ my living hope

Verse 3

Then came the morning that sealed the promise Your buried body began to breathe Out of the silence the Roaring Lion Declared the grave has no claim on me (REPEAT) Jesus Yours is the victory whoa

Ending

Jesus Christ my living hope Oh God You are my living hope

My Country 'Tis Of Thee (America) Verse 1

My country 'tis of thee Sweet land of liberty Of thee I sing Land where my fathers died Land of the pilgrims' pride From every mountain side Let freedom ring

Verse 2

My native country thee Land of the noble free Thy name I love I love thy rocks and rills Thy woods and templed hills

My heart with rapture thrills Like that above

Verse 3

Let music swell the breeze And ring from all the trees Sweet freedom's song Let mortal tongues awake Let all that breathe partake Let rocks their silence break The sound prolong

Verse 4

Our fathers' God to Thee Author of liberty To Thee we sing Long may our land be bright With freedom's holy light Protect us by Thy might Great God our King
